The openLCA Ecosystem

openLCA is a proven, well-established and continuously maintained desktop solution for Life Cycle Assessment. For respective background databases for standard materials, the largest LCI data repository worldwide, openLCA Nexus, is available. Respective databases can be sourced and integrated from here within minutes.

onlineLCA provides a user management system that can be connected with an existing user rights management system. Users can read, manipulate, publish and overwrite all kinds of LCA datasets, such as processes, input/output flows, methods, parameters or projects.

The LCA Collaboration Server serves as a data repository, and provides versioning and tracking features, similar to git for software development. Through the vast solutions for integration and interchange of these software solutions, respective interfaces and connections to other IT-systems can be implemented (such as ERP.MES. Azure, Energy Monitoring system etc.). For this, the IPC-server or respective developer tools are available.
